Telecommunication Cooling Equipment
The key in thermal management of any outdoor structure is the selection of the appropriate cooling device.
Cooling device selection and its impact on power, battery backup and maintenance is of paramount importance for any type of enclosure. We provide design, development and deployment of Open Loop systems and Closed-Loop systems. Open Loop systems allow outside air to come into the enclosure, cool the equipment, and it is subsequently exhausted (and with it the heat generated, these are flow-through systems that use exhaust or intake fans/blowers). Closed Loop systems do not allow outside air to come into the enclosure, and the cooling is performed indirectly through a device. Closed Loop Systems can be classified as:
1) Full active systems, like air conditioners and thermoelectric coolers, require AC power (or DC power), are difficult to back-up efficiently and require lots of maintenance.
2) Assisted systems, like air-to-air heat exchangers run off DC power, can be backed up and typically demonstrate a longer maintenance interval.
3) Passive systems on the other hand require no power and are virtually maintenance-free.
Outdoor thermal solutions can help you with the design of the following cooling equipment:
a) Air Conditioners featuring thermoelectric coolers
b) Air-to-Air and Liquid-to-air Heat Exchangers
c) PCM Heat Exchangers
